“The cellar of my house was a dank dark dingy place, which has now been transformed into a beautiful flat with kitchen, sitting room, bedroom and en suite bathroom. Justin Malone installed a pump to keep it dry, took down two walls to provide more space and dug out the space, which was full of dirt, for the bedroom and bathroom under the front of the house. Throughout he was entirely professional. He always came when he said he would, worked extremely hard, left things tidy and as clean as possible when he finished each evening, and I had no qualms at all about giving him a key and letting him get on with the job while I was out at work. “Outstanding service & quality of work“
JRM recently completed full refurbishment of our cellar. The cellar was an old coal cellar and split into 2 spaces. Justin arrived to quote for the work and explained the options available and suggested his recommendation. Justin came across as very enthusiastic. When work started every aspect was completed by him, his team or a someone within the relevant trades required (plumber, electrician ect etc). We didn’t have to worry about finding a tradesman to complete any work, all this was taken care of, removing some potential stress. The job seemed major to us, but probably straight forward for the experienced team. Steels were fitted to open to cellar into a large room, a small bathroom was installed. All work was finished within the time scales provided and to a high standard and promptly signed off by building control. I can’t fault Justin or his team. Punctual, polite, friendly, hard working and reliable. We’re considering our next project which would involve opening up the ground floor to an open plan kitchen. We had no hesitation approaching Justin and asking him to do this for us. All being well this will happen this summer. “Cellar Conversion”
Justin and his team converted our damp, dingy cellar into a playroom, storage room and small study. This was a full refurbishment including structural work, tanking the cellar, plumbing, electrics, plastering etc. We are really pleased with the end result as it has turned a storage cellar into several light, usable and safe room. Justin offered suggestions and advice throughout the project to ensure that the end result exceeded our expectations. He and his team were very friendly and helpful and worked around accommodating our young family to ensure that disruption was minimised. At least one member of the team was on site everyday which meant that the conversion was completed in good time. The team also worked closely with a Building Inspector to ensure that the room met Building Regulations – this included fitting a fire escape and appropriate fire proof plasterboarding and a fire door. If we ever need any similar work doing we would definitely use JRM again and we would be happy to recommend them to others – Sharon
